Beginning Glass Bead Making — A Creative Experience for Ages 16+
Ready to dive into the world of molten glass? Join artist Lee Mannikko for a welcoming, hands-on class where you’ll learn to shape glowing glass into beautiful, handmade beads—each one full of color, texture, and charm.
In this three-hour beginner-friendly session, you’ll explore techniques like applying frit and creating surface designs, all while learning to safely use the equipment. Depending on your pace, you’ll make three to six beads to keep or gift—no experience needed!
With just two students per class, you’ll get plenty of personal guidance and time to explore your creativity. All materials are included, and your finished beads will be ready for pickup in just two business days. See our what to wear and policies page for more details
