What to Wear and Class Policies
👕 What to Wear for Glassblowing or Lampworking
Safety first! Please wear cotton clothing and closed-toe shoes (like sneakers or boots) when working with hot glass. A cotton t-shirt and jeans work great. We recommend short sleeves—they’re usually more comfortable in the studio.
💳 When Do I Pay?
We require full payment at the time of booking to reserve your spot. This helps us prepare materials and schedule your experience with care.
Policies
We want every visit to be smooth and enjoyable, so here are a few important things to know:
-
All bookings are final and non-refundable. We’re happy to reschedule your class only in the case of a medical emergency.
-
If you're feeling unwell, please stay home. Just reach out—we’ll reschedule you or issue a gift certificate for a future class or purchase.
-
Due to occasional shifts in glass color availability, we may need to substitute shades if your first choice isn’t in stock.
-
Art by Fire is a family-friendly, drug-free space. We do not teach or create paraphernalia, even if it’s legal.
🎁 When Do I Get My Glass Art?
Your finished pieces will be ready to take home two business days after your class (except paperweights, which need one extra day to have their bottom edges smoothed).
